I think the greatest computer related invention is the email. Emailing is a faster way to get things done and  a faster way of communication.

Class Evaluation

1. Some things I liked about the class was the Khan academy lessons and also how we got to use Scratch. It was very fun and we also learned a lot  at the same time. 2. I liked everything about the class. 3. I think to improve the class have more time for students to get up and walk around to get a rest from the computer. 4. Yes, I take at least 5 minutes reading and writing in my goals journal. 5.I am committed to being a CTR person 24/7 because it isn't just a motto, it is a way of life. 6. I learned many things in this class including how to be successful and happy in the future. For example we learned the 10 qualities of a total winner. I will teach others in college this kind of stuff, because it can help them too. 7. One thing I will always remember from this class is singing "Do the right thing, Do it all the time." :)

Steve Jobs is the founder of the company Apple. One contribution he has made to technology is creating the iMac. The iMac was marketed as being internet ready out of the box. He also created the iPod, which could store thousands of songs. He also invented the iPhone. Before the iPhone phones were primarily used for calling, chatting, and emailing. Then jobs introduced many apps which serve us to do almost anything on or phone. We can surf the web, use a flashlight, and set an alarm clock.

Ten Qualities of a Total Winner

Image
The Psychology of Winning Denis Waitley The 10 Qualities of a Total Winner Quality 1:   Positive Self-Expectancy  "Life is a self fulfilling prophecy. True winners go into every event expecting to win." Basically what this quote means is that you should expect highly of yourself. You should push yourself to the limit, and feel positive about it. You should always push yourself to the limit because it will make you happy. In order to be a winner, you have to remain positive when you don't.You need to always be positive too through the tough times, always be humble. You need to be a CTR 24/7 person, positivity will come to you naturally. Quality 2:  Positive Self-Motivation  "True winners dig deep and find motivation inside themselves to get through that tough task or to learn a new skill." I agree with this quote by Denis Waitley because it is very true. Even in bad situations, you should try your best to keep a positive outlook.M

10 tips for being more truthful

Image
The Ten Tips Make a commitment to tell the truth. Tell someone about your commitment. Think before you give a dishonest answer, explanation, sarcasm, or reason. Be careful of when and how you use exaggeration, sarcasm, or irony. Be careful not to twist the truth or leave out part of it. Don't indulge in little white lies. Watch out for silent lies. When you catch yourself lying, throw your mouth into reverse. Talk to yourself. Treat yourself when you tell the truth. The 10 tips for being more truthful will help me stay on the path of CTR 24/7. You need to start off with a commitment to tell the truth, so you know that you promised yourself that. If you tell someone about your commitment, they can help you reach the goal you are aiming for. Before you think of a dishonest answer, remember telling the truth is always better than telling a lie. One lie will just lead to another, then you'll just be stuck in a bunch of lies. You should be careful about how you use

Steve Jobs

STEVE JOBS  Steven Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California. His unwed biological parents, Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali, put him up for adoption. Steve was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs, a lower-middle-class couple, who moved to the suburban city of Mountain View a couple of years later.  He lived in the Silicon Valley in the early 1950's after the sprouting of a myriad of semi-conductor companies. As a result, young Steve Jobs grew up in a neighborhood of engineers working on electronics and other gizmos in their garages on weekends. This shaped his interest in the field as he grew up and made his interest grow even more. Five years later, when Steve Jobs reached college age, he told his parents he wanted to enroll in Reed College — an expensive liberal arts college up in Oregon. Even though the tuition fees were astronomical for the poor couple, they had promised their son's biological parents he would get a college education, so t

Online Newspapers

Image
The newspaper online that I decided to choose is El Informador from Guadalajara, Jalisco. The name of the article is called "Reportan fuera de peligro a bebé intoxicada por cocaína".  This article is about an 8 month old baby who was intoxicated by cocaine. My opinion of this article is that it is very sad to see that someone would do this to a child this small, it was frustrating to try to comprehend why someone would do this. I chose this article because the headline caught my attention and my roots come from this place.
